Wouldn't be surprised if we offer Knowles and Isted new contracts. Definitely going to need to recruit some quality defenders!

Most of the players we let go fall upwards so wouldn't be surprised to see Inniss and Bunker in League 2 next season. Even Dodge might get a chance at a higher level. He's only 33 and I remember people also writing off Matty Stevens at the end of his time here and he's gone to be pretty successful at a higher level

Yep, Doidge is only 33 and he doesn't get injured much and is now very well rested. Someone will surely snap him up.

i am among those who wished that Bunks was retained/new contract ,and apart from the fact that he has really 'come on 'this season-it is a vindication of the academy .

that all given-we do not know the circumstances of his leaving-it could simply be his choice -and for all we know-he may be emigrating to New Zealand which would make travelling and training a bit of an issue

One thing I will never try and do, is fathom out the logic behind all this.

And I'm not going to start trying now 😒 😕
