Wouldn't be surprised if we offer Knowles and Isted new contracts. Definitely going to need to recruit some quality defenders!

Delighted we are talking to JMT. Though I imagine the offer is a pay cut, which may cause him to look elsewhere. Ditto Isted.

As for Bunker, he must be disappointed today but I fully expect him to join the ranks of FGR cast-offs playing at a higher level.

As I recall Macca has a low release clause c £20K. If any EFl clubs want him and can match our wages he will probably be gone.

I doubt Mendy has a release clause and we would want serious money for him. On the other hand retaining players who don’t want to be here (and that may also include Haughton currently) is not a good idea either.

I was slightly surprised to see that Harries was still under contract but then again he joined later than the Cheltenham boys.

How many of those contracted will move on, or be moved on only time will tell but we could have some new faces in the East Stand departure seats come July 🙈

Given Harvey had t featured recently I guess he already has a new club lined up. We will be due some development money for him as he came though our academy from age of 16

SC wasn’t a big fan so I’d be surprised if Bunks goes there. Interesting to see where he does go however ….

Very disappointed to lose Harvey Bunker and I genuinely believe that will be one we regret. He's definitely capable of playing at L2 level at least.

Keeping JMT would be great but due to his injury issues, we still need to sign a couple of quality centre halves, as he can't be relied upon to stay fit (not his fault).

Finally, I really hoped Doidge would've been kept on in a player/coach role. I fully expect him to have a very good 26/27 season wherever he ends up.

We won't get anything for him if we've released him, you only get development fees if you offer a player a new contract of at least the same value as his previous one. Given he's on the released list, I'd assume he's now a free agent.

I hope he doesnt become an ' eaststander ' , and i may be in a minority and i suspect rs is in the majority , but i think harries is underrated.
oleased he is under contract / retained and hope he gets / takes his chance next season.
Ok _ some of the theoretical retainees will leave anyway ,but one does, have to give respect to rs and mr bowen in particular for having assembled a good permanent squad over the last 10 months.

There is zero chance Harries will play for us next season.
