RS confirmed that Obi is out for the rest of the season with an ACL injury.
 
Huge shame for the young man who was quickly growing into the role. Best wishes to him. Big opportunity for Kirkcough or Ajayi or maybe for Campbell to develop a second role à la Mendy?
 
If not maybe an incoming loanee at CB?

Poor bloke talk about bad luck. All the best for a speedy recovery.

I would hope we'd use one of Ajayi or Kircough rather then yet another signing. Campbell is another option although in general I prefer players to be used in their best position .

Very sorry but he should have come off after initial injury.
The windmills need to turn rapidly. ..leaves a gap for a season long loan.
Without which I don't see any clean sheets.

So disappointing for Obi during the first game of the season with so much to look forward to over the season.
Hopefully an operation soon so the recovery process can begin.
We do have cover but a season long loan would be very helpful
