Did anybody watch the game live on DAZN .?

i just wonder what the commentators /pundits on there said about the fgr defence.

obviously us ordinary folk know nothing , but maybe professionals do a bit more and if they say defence is awful-maybe it really is -and certain people will take a bit of notice .

That's our biggest home loss since by some margin since we've been back in the NL.

RS is so far out of his depth only Dale Vince couldn't see it coming.

The forum was a happy place that night, but as the season progressed it was misplaced optimism

After our unhappy time today, perhaps it's misplaced pessimism.

Not sure I can Keep Calm @Timb but yes, if we can get six points every 3 games, we'll chalk up 90+ points

Capable defenders must be the priority

i think thats harsh- but he needs better players esp in defence-and it is/was a crime not to recognise that in the summer .
stop this free flowing entertaining stuff and just do what wins games of football -be pragmatic .
(but he needs mr vince to recognise that )

Imagine being a West Ham supporter, full of optimism having been really crap last season.

Full of optimism, first home game of the season, lose 2-1 to Charlton Athletic.

Today's result is history.  Cheers 🍻

If DV wanted us to play pragmatic football we'd have kept SC. No point hiring an entertainer and then asking him to be pragmatic.

i dont think anyone suggested he would .
simple point is that pragmatic football wins leagues.
a bit of entertainment wins a few games.

despite the apparent love -in- if i were RS -i would not trust DV .
lose 3 of the next 4 (not impossible ) and DV will want an even 'bigger entertainer '.

when it all turns sour and fgr are in a relegation battle ,and crowds are barely 1000 dv will suddenly 'smell the coffee' as they say

RS isnt stupid- i suspect he would like to be a bit more pragmatic-but needs to keep his boss happy .
difficult balance

I have Brentford on the radio against Spurs, who they are completely taking apart...it is 3-0 at the moment and they have also missed a penalty...Spuds getting well and truly mashed!
Green in a sea of red!
