Another week /another drama /more turmoil ?

who can tell, but it does seem there will be 'two in 'this week.

what positions will they be ?

i anticipate one to be a goalkeeper as there is not the 'obligatory' 3 yet .
normally the third gk is a (bit disrespectful of me ) -yawn signing as within 5 mins they are one of those with that potential stuff and are out on loan straightaway.

i am paying a bit more attention this time :
dont know much about it -but seems jackson blake or whatever his name is has been around the building .Equally i have no idea where he is currently registered to and his pedigree.

In this instance -do fgr really need a seasoned GK to be absolutely competing week in/week out with mcnicholas?
forgive me where it is real hard to follow ward and jeyes but i am not absolutely convinced by mcnicholas.

i can even envisage it being a rotation thing threeways ,and Pagel maybe earning the right to be NO 1.

-and the other position will be ?

and then there's the drama of who will be leaving -probably perm two from 5 there as well ?

thoughts ?

I will admit to also not being wowed by mcnicholas but then he didn't have much to do aside from pick the ball out of the net. Think he's come as number one so don't think it'll be keeper.
Hoping for another LB though the new Robson did line up there when he came on, so perhaps he is the future LB?!
As for outgoings just praying it is not one of innis doidge or Kyle

Jackson Smith - clearly not a first choice keeper but looked competent at the open training session.

I think Sercombe & Harries will depart and in addition to a keeper a CB and/or a left back will join. Kenghi not at the races yesterday and JMT looked a bit pedestrian.

Solihull’s  right back Rutherford who they signed this summer from D&R (having been very good at Eastbourne too) was excellent yesterday and shame we missed him. Just shows still lots of good talent in the lower echelons.

Doidge made his point yesterday and the youngster (Dausch) has done a hamstring and will be missing for a while. Innis would have made a difference yesterday and probably got to at least one of the crosses and with 20 corners at the other end could have caused some havoc. It would be lunacy to let him go. RS has already said  he rates KM although he didn’t have a great game yesterday. He is not suited to a low block game and didn’t defend well either.

Haughton oozed class yesterday but clearly a long way from being physically or match fit.

Agreed, thought Rutherford for them was fantastic. Held up very well against our pace on that wing

You'd hope we'd be after players for the weakest positions.

Let’s hope the boat race winners prevail again Having just read his profile it would seem that the 32 year old’s career has been punctuated by ill- discipline, attitude issues, drug related suspension, and two year goal drought (twice!)

more gossip and made up rumours required on a slow day please .

better still a wind turbine or two ,although perhaps more likely to be in reverse gear as someone leaves

Talking “outs” …. in addition to Sercombe and Harries who seem to be sitting in the departure lounge I’d say it’s looking increasingly ominous for Long, May & Bunker too …..
