They’re both as bad as each other

RE, TD and RS have destroyed FGR.
The one saviour they could’ve had was destroyed by FGR but saved Cheltenham.
Karma.
Yes, quite the karma being served up. I suspect this is why Dale's pride is hurting when he keeps saying "we don't mind when we get promoted."

Strange, as you said it did when you axed the women's team 🤥

Agree. Forcing SC out was a terrible move, and not done in the best way by any means, which several of us said at the time.

Nothing that has happened since has done anything to suggest it was a good idea imo.

Please don't forget the invaluable contribution to this mess by Big Dunc.....

In addition I challenge anyone to justify Bowen's part.

How did he go from needing 'a few tweaks'.... to overseeing and signing off on 47/48 players??

How has he seemingly never had, and clearly still hasn't a succession plan? We should have picked up Williams two weeks ago!!

Viewing from the outside now as you are NFR; What the Hell has befallen FGR football management from and since EFL 1 exit?

D-o-F insanity!

I don’t know whether you are still viewing from the outside or are now viewing from the inside F/A. Either way, it’s lovely to hear from you again and hope you are well x

Directors of Farce? And the obsession in having them.

I wonder who signed the most players? Allan Steele or Bowen? Close call I imagine.

Half time in a game we were losing was not a good time for DV to do an interview. I wonder if he caught MB by surprise and if he had actually heard it judging by the comments I heard him make after the game.

I fear DV shot from the hip. It may well be that the idea of having the three musketeers in charge for a while had been discussed as an option  but the “we’ll see how it goes” approach just creates more uncertainty and chaos.

MB said quite publicly that they would be looking at managers. He and DV appeared to deny the Ebbsfleet link - even though Josh Wright seemed to have confirmed it in the week.

i have worked in what used to be called matrix management  and it always fails. Like all these things it works for a while and then implodes and leaves a worse scenario than before which is very difficult to unwind.

We need a sensible proven manager. There are plenty around who can also play attractive football and don’t have huge egos.

we need to sort this very quickly or we will be in a relegation struggle.
Totally agree with most of what you are saying apart from (we will be in a relagation struggle) we are already in one, with 3 point off it that time has arrived .

you are correct -whilst i anticipated it-you are' in the moment '.

taking my lead from DV from seasons past -i have been similarly blindsided
-fgr are in a relegation battle already (and can anyone realistically see fgr winning at barrow which will compound the issue )

DV solution -lets delay things for another 4 games and get fgr into an even bigger mess.
thats just fun.

Barrow, have of late, implemented 'The Iron Dome' defense mechanism; 5 wins on the trot!

Small pickings from the 32 miles cul-de-sac there I would think?

At least that is two games shorter than Troy Deeney was in charge of the team...so maybe things aren't that bad after all.

in the main with regards to recruitment _ yes.
i would say 75% success / ok.
you really look for 80%.
too much quantity though i would agree _ but was that driven by rs ?
i can't comment on what else he does as i do not know.
certainly a lot better than the new zealand wet lettuce aka( junior xxx from marketing ) who was alledgedly steering theship 5 years ago.
How are you quantifying that 75% have been a success or ok? I could name you a number of players off the top of my head that have been terrible for us.

Agina, Kengni, Pemberton, Mellor, Temi, Mitchell, Robson, Patrick, Balagizi, Bamba, Ahmed, Dausch, Morrison. That being fairly generous to some of the others.

The only real successes to this point have been Isted who we inexplicably let go, Mendy, Whitwell and Clarke. The rest are at best easily replaceable.

thank you for your question :
please refer back to my previous reply/post on the same subject/question from circa 2 weeks ago.

a lot depends of course upon expectations -and may be mine are lower (more realistic ?) than most ?

again-please see my reply in full from about 2 weeks ag0-but simply to add that of the 13 you name -imo-nine of them would get into any national league (premier )side -and probably robson as well-but i have not seen enough of him to be specific on that .

whether they were/are utilised correctly at fgr is a different question.
that is the managers responsibility -not MB's

i think the recruitment -'Ins' has been ok .
the 'outs' -i have a different perspective on ,but that is not your question
