Enjoyable win. Clarke in the starting 11 made a difference. We could and should have had a few more goals. Mellor missed a sitter and Jili fluffed an open goal. Pleased for Gabe. Excellent goal and solid at the back.

I do feel that better opposition would have punished us on many occasions. Nearly caught with long balls over the top and they got in behind on the wings lots of times (but luckily no decent follow up cross).

Midweek should be a win, but 4g pitch could make it tricky. Fingers crossed we keep up the performances to hit the playoffs with full confidence and dynamism 🤞

Need a fox in the box to put more pressure on the goalkeeper. There were a few long range shots which were parried, but no-one in the box to follow up

Ricardo can be our fox in the box...when he is back to full fitness...hopefully joined by Jose. That is a pairing that could worry opposition defences, if they get a chance. Unfortunately both had their season interrupted by injury, so we never really had an opportunity to see them progress.

Very pleased with the result and enjoyed the changes we made to our play, even giving us our first goal by Kengni. For me Kircough had a very good game and should of been M-o-t-M but okay McAlister played well as usual.

Babalola remains in my wardrobe but I've added a new seat for Jili Buyabu, yes he has some fancy feet tricks that gets us nowhere, but my main concern is his laziness walking round even after a few minutes on the pitch, even Robbie shouted at him for rambling around. Well done for all the effort from the team yesterday, you deserved the win.

Our best 90 minute performance since December (if not before). Good performances pretty much everywhere (though Nwoko seems off form still) and excellent ones from Kengni, Kircough, Mendy and McAllister. Clarke was instrumental in much that was good and our passing was way better than it has been for game after game. And the sun shone.

I still fear Southend will finish above us but Halifax have some tough fixtures coming up. Unfortunately they had a great win last night but surely they are inconsistent enough to lose one or two of those coming up. The key thing of course is to play as well as we did yesterday against Tamworth, Eastleigh and then Brackley and get 7 or more points from those. Then its Truro and Braintree so maybe we have the easiest run in.

Great to see us leave three up when defending corners (for the first time since Cooper I think). And even better that it paid off for that first goal. Kengni did great to hold off the challenge to score.

Unfortunately Mellor - for all his good, hard work and clever feet - maybe another striker that can't score. How big is that wardrobe?

Excellent result and good performance. Good to see that our “own” young players especially Kircough  and Campbell make really good contributions. The latter is improving game on game.

Mendy was back to his irresistible best yesterday and played with a smile on his face again.

We obviously play better in the sunshine ?

I don't agree with criticism of Mellor. He runs the channels hard all game, holds it up well and can't be in two places at once.

We are six points ahead of Halifax (and +12 GD) and seven points ahead of Southend, who have two games in hand and a +6 GD on us. They still have to play each other in mid April too. It would be pretty catastrophic to miss the playoffs from here given our run in.
