the players you mention will have endured and survived 'rants' before.

 

that given- RS constantly preaches the message that he likes to play on front foot /dynamic /encourage defenders to go forward etc.,and if it goes 'wrong' wont blame the players .

 

not sure he is consistent with the second part -and not just on last nights game .

yes-they cant keep making the same mistakes and so often ,but Mr RS -maybe be a bit more consistent.

 

that said -love robbie to bits .

the guy is a workaholic-dedicated to football (his poor wife )

maybe chill and relax just a little bit more robbie ?

 

dont lose the passion/emotion but take a bit more time out for yourself and family .

you encourage that for the players -do it for yourself as well.(tell him john mcmahon)

Odd game last night, we weren't particularly at it but scoring eight wouldn't have flattered us. Clear red and pen, Tamworth can have no complaints about either. Their first goal is an absolute horror show. I feel sorry for Ry for that one, he's left one on one with a guy that clearly outpaces him, where was the rest of the defence? Isted started to come and got caught out of position, great finish even so. Their second is just an unfortunate slip from Dausch who's man ended up heading in unchallenged.

 

I don't blame Robbie for subbing Inniss, he had an awful night, but the comments towards him weren't warranted and I hope he's big enough to apologise and learn from this.

 

I know I've mentioned this on here previously and got some fightback but Kanu is absolutely woeful in the air. I counted he won one header all night, which was unopposed and headed out for a corner when it was simple enough to put it out for a throw. Numerous times he either bottled attacking the ball and left it to others, or let the ball bounce. I appreciate some of that is the mask but having a CB that refuses to head the ball is a problem. Such a shame cause otherwise he's brilliant, the pass out of the defence to get us going forward for Haughton's goal was perfect. Mendy was superb second half luckily so it didn't cause us too many issues this time around.

 

Buzzing for Temi who even without the goals had his best game for us, hopefully that's the start of a run of goals for him cause we really need to find scoring solutions in the centre forward position with Kairo out. Best game from Haughton too, kept things simpler last night and was far more effective. As others have said, he was starting to feel like the forgotton man so I'm glad he's put himself back in the frame.

I remember Macclesfield fans saying that RS has a habit of falling out with players and then having to replace them with new signings.

 

It's also been semi-abusive making senior and former EFL players train with the youth team. Very disappointing to hear recently that they have been isolated from the squad in that way.

I know they're not the quickest trio, but the guile and movement of Clarke, Naughton and McAllister was so important in a game where Tamworth were playing a narrow, low block. Kyle's pass to set Naughton off for his goal was fantastic.
