Great result and some brilliant second half performances. Haughton with 3 x assists was superb.

Morecambe winning Rochdale away! what if no team would get 100 points at the end?

Fantastic result. It's a great time for Haughton and McAllister to be showing the skill and class they clearly have in abundance. Keep it going!

McAllister and Haughton were superb second half, Campbell very good too. And what a goal from Mendy!

Great result. Sounds like some good individual performances. With some strikers due back soon all is looking good all of a sudden for the playoffs! Fingers crossed

I admit to being a bit worried during the first half, but all three of those second-half goals were things of beauty, but such good teamwork on display once we got going, too.

Sorry to see that Brackley likely to be going down, but hopefully today's performance will be sufficient motivation to keep up the same form in all of our remaining games.

It took us a while to really get in the groove, but the first half did show FGR to be far the better team. Strange it took the sending off to get Haughton to put in a great pass for Mellor to net.

Second half we completely dominated and only getting three more goals flattered Brackley. We were as threatening and dynamic as we have been all season with Haughton, McAllister and Clarke all looking a class above.

Top notch performance from Kyle once again, but Knowles was often the catalyst to our most energetic moves. I'm happy for him to pick up MOTM again.

McAllister's goal was a joy to behold but Mendy's wasn't far behind, also rifling into the goal. Shame there weren't more shots of this quality. Nick Houghton had three assists, he is becoming a key asset to the team as they gain momentum heading into the play offs.. Today's performance should cement his place in the starting eleven.

Pleased LM unlocked her wardrobe. Temi was only on the field for half an hour but he looked sharp and won most of the balls in the air. Again, a very useful player to have on the bench.

JMT is undoubtedly the lynchpin who is needed to organise our defence. Kanu had a decent game but he doesn't have the experience or the judgement to command the penalty area.

Interesting end to the season with both York and Rochdale vying for the automatic spot. Carlisle slipped up against a rejuvenated Gateshead, but should still secure the third place slot, with Boreham Wood not far behind.

Scunny, FGR and Southend will join BW in the eliminators, 5th our objective to get a home tie.

Good crowd, turn up the volume even more at Truro and home to Braintree next week.

Eight goals in two games, keep it going Rovers

It Is Now & sons
As others have said Mcallister, Haughton & Clarke were outstanding today. The understanding and link up between Mac & Nick were a joy to watch. IMO they need to start every game. RS was giving Haughton a hard time in the first half but his goal and assist contribution per minutes played must not be ignored.

McAllister’s touch, control and movement (and finishing) is way above NL level. I would love to think we will keep him but I suspect we won’t be able to and he will be very, very difficult to replace.

I have to confess (before Roy of the Rovers shops me) that as Mendy received the ball I shouted  “ Don’t shoot Mendy !”

What do I know !

Very competent display but Brackley were poor even before the ridiculous sending off.  4-0 flattered Brackley as it could have been much more.  Goal difference will matter if we are to catch Scunny and get a home tie. Now on to relegated Truro which won’t be easy as they will be playing for themselves though one hopes they’ve already left for the beach.
