That was Boston we were playing not Borehamwood.
This is before we lose our quartet to the call ups. 🤦

Why? Don't think we'll fair better going there on a cold Tuesday night in December, with or without Kelly and Mellor.

I think the Gateshead game papered over the cracks somewhat. Southend were 6-0 up at halftime today, and that was away from home.

I think we have to expect inconsistency. We did miss chances but the structure of the team looked wrong, we were too easy to play through again, after tightening up in the previous three games. Our defence looked very jittery and going forward we don't have anyone you can feel confident will finish. Feel a bit sorry for Mellor as his workrate is good, but his finishing and composure in front of goal just isn't there.

We've clearly gone backwards by someway compared to last season, what with 4 losses already this season.  I can't remember how many games we went unbeaten last season but it was a fair old stretch of games.

Kentstripe I’m sure you’re right about the Sutton game but at least in December we might have some central defenders fit (and not away)
 
Up front is a real problem. Personally without Rees I would give Mitchell an opportunity when he gets back but no idea what I’d do next Saturday

We need a loan centre back..if williams late of liverpool or morecambe has no club sign him an upgrade on this lot
We have to stop signing players. It's ridiculous!
 
How do we expect any of the lads to gel/feel comfortable in the squad if we replace a player as someone's away for 1 match
 
We need to do what every other team does, use the squad and make do with what we have!

Watched it on my laptop - entertaining first half - FGR should have been in front - poor finishing g cost us badly.
second half was very very poor. Clueless rubbish is the only description I can think of. I think the score line flatters us - played off the park by a struggling team.
savage should cancel the fixtures and use the time to sort the mess out - should it not improve rafter that then he should fall on his sword

Another game when we were the authors of our own misfortune.  Sadly without Rees we have no striker capable of scoring.  So wasteful in the first half and brittle in the second.  Too much depends on McAllister, Clarke and Etaluku sparking us into life.  Centre backs both had a nightmare.
 
Officials awful.  For once the referee relied on Assistants who got countless decisions wrong including a dubious penalty decision.  But that does not excuse the abject send half when we lost shape and control.

Very disappointed today, we seem to have gone back to how we were a couple of weeks ago; easily loosing the ball and missing the goal when we were near. Totally lacked lackluster. About time we started to get better, we have one good game and then it is rubbish again. It’s getting a bit frustrating to be honest because we all know that the team members can perform much better so the question must be posed as to why our team comes out like this and gives such a poor show.

Both Mabete and Kircough should be available for Sutton, think Fil was only going to miss Wealdstone?
