it prob wouldnt have made a difference-but am surprised that Clarke wasnt brought on for the last ten minutes -an experienced and clam head amid the bedlum ? .

i think the RS post match interview will be interesting.

he says -never blames referees- reading the forum posts as to how the game panned out-i am not so sure he will keep his cool tonight-especially if RR's goal was justified and not handball whatsoever .

Harsh ! I want to see the replay of the handball. My instinct was it hit his chest first. Why would he deliberately handle it when through on goal? Anyone else have a clear view of it?
Me too...I'm guessing that any contact was accidental and not of the Thierry Henry standard against Ireland a few years ago.

I guess thats what happens when you spend money on 'international' talent who play sexy football, score goals but get sent off!
Im joking, lad will settle into the team and just has had a rude introduction to the terrible level of refereeing in this league. Still think he will smash em in for us!

Started to look strong then masters of our own downfall.  The last 10 minutes felt like Barnet away last season. In control then not in control.
TB should have scored his sitter from 3 yards out and then we would have won...
How the lino gave a foul against KM towards the end on the wing, I'll never know. He was clearly being pulled back, right in front of the linesman.

So the refs rationale is that it was a deliberate handball from Rees? Otherwise it is not a yellow card in that situation. I can't remember when I have ever seen a yellow given against an attacker for that offense while trying to score. Goals disallowed for handball yes, but not with a yellow card being given

Lachden
Well, just when you expect to have turned the corner, something always has a habit?
Inexperience, indiscipline can cost you dear, let's hope we have fast learners. Some in the fast lane, others the slower one. Maybe too cushy there to want to get and stay on the way Up. You should know , RS, DV, etc. Seems like Fgr going long way round unless win at Rochdale,an then rest.
Lot on your shoulders as the Vegan society needs to ensure their roots flourish far and wide

Ok I'm in the minority..and you can all shoot me down if you want... but I do have to agree with Lachden on one point....indisicipline.

I love Rees but you cannot react to a tackle like that. I just watched the whole game back after listening earlier. IMHO It was Ricvado's reaction and stupid un-necessary retaliatron to a bad challenge when we were well on that top cost us the game sadly .... not the unitentional 'handball'.

Having now shown one silly hot-headed moment, he needs learn fast in this league to control emotions as teams will now target him for a reaction. Like wise i hope Robbie/aka Gaffer takes him aside and puts him right on self-control rarther than just just being so over the top |(rightly or wrongly) about the ref .

It Is Now & sons
Having seen the playback both the tackle on and the tackle by Ricardo could have been red cards.

Good result in the end all things considered it's very tight at the top a nice little run of wins for any of the tops 5 for remaining games in January could be the platform for been champions come the end of the season .I agree robbie's interview was very professional.

We thought the second yellow card was for dissent after penalised for handball ?

I agree.  I’m infuriated by Rees’ behaviour. The revenge tackle was awful and he was lucky to be sent off and then to show dissent - for admittedly a very dodgy decision - was stupid.

With RS also losing his rag I think we have to expect more indiscipline over the next month as the fixtures get tougher. Knowles and McAllister who also got involved in silly tantrums should knoww better too.

im very disappointed tonight. That would have been three points had we kept our cool.

Btw, I was pretty unimpressed by Morison. I know it was his first game but he didn’t do much right. Maybe he’ll be better in midfield.
