I can honestly say that I just couldn't sleep last night after such a poor performance yet again, that was terrible in many areas. Do the players really train or just have fun in the week, so many miss placed passes, shocking defending particularly by our so called wing defenders who often left their player open to advance.

These youngsters are not the answer, I felt sorry for Mellor who did run his heart out, but with no experienced player alongside him he will not get that first goal. There is no speed going forward and continued with this passing back and across the pitch instead of attacking. Even in the last injury minutes they were doing the tippy-tappy in defence, for god sake the final whistle was in the referees hand.

Corners, shocking and pointless, passing between players shocking, effort (other than McAllister) shocking. All needs a rethink and thankfully being an old pensioner I might catch up with my lack of sleep during today.

Why wasn't Bunker, Haughton, Inniss, Moore-Taylor and Doidge available at the start, these yougsters need help and Guidance or it's going to be a disaster, including next season. I'm beginning to worry, is Robbie the right person to be in charge of the team?

Good point LM, in his interview the other week Jose Marquez talked about learning from the senior players during his time in recovery, mentioning Jordie and Ryan...I'm convinced we have a gem there, he was well thought of by the clubs he went on loan to, grounded, humble and clearly wanting to learn from the more senior players in the squad. I really hope he is up and firing for next season and hasn't moved on.

100% agree on RS being lost. He looked totally out of ideas last night.

From pretty early on it was clear that the system wasn’t working, and we had the players on th pitch to change it, but nothing.

0-0 on 86 minutes and we leave Haughton and Jili on the bench and bring Bunker on. Says it all.

There’s no point in hiring Wayne Hatswell as a set piece coach if no one can put a delivery in.

Has a National League team ever spent so much money on assembling such a large group of mediocre strikers?

Poor Robbie, he just did not want to be on the end of that microphone with Billy.
He was wallowing. Young players are inconsistent at every level.
The squad has too many from the lower leagues.
Without a backbone of experience in the side, which he seems to be ignoring
the team will continue to struggle.
Yes they may well reach the playoffs but performances appear to be going backwards.
At some point he will have to recruit experienced older players.
He messed up ‘big time’ with Inness.

"Too many stories of players not happy in the camp."

What are these stories? The Inniss debacle of a few months ago and his current absence? Mendy's aborted transfer to Hearts? Buyabu's interview?

Anything else? Its potentially a vicious versus virtuous circle: when we were playing well and getting results, everyone was happy. Now we aren't playing well, I guess everyone is getting frustrated (including us). It's football....

Tre Pemberton apparently not happy with the standards in training. Moore-Taylor apparently not happy at the moment. Jayden Clarke liking a tweet critical of RS and about the squad being too big. The disappearance of the long-serving Dan Connor. As others have said, something is wrong and it is reflected on the pitch.

I noticed jili went back to the changing rooms after the warm ups well after they had completed and the remainder of the team were already back there. I know he was a sub but wonder if that's why he didn't come on last night. Stropping as he was a sub?

Was innes not risked because of the surface last night?
