After Saturday's goal famine of a cup tie at Chesham, the 2 sides have it all to do again at the New Lawn Stadium on Tuesday night. A game that must see the ball in the net, even if its in a penalty shoot-out.

 

If you don't know who Chesham are by now, please refer back to the previews written for Saturday's game. They haven't changed much in the interim. As seen on Saturday, they are a poor side who can defend a bit, so why did so-called lesser opposition than us score 12 past them in their previous 3 home games?

 

A low attendance is anticipated on Tuesday with the club only opening the main stand. Let's hope that the 3 amigos that we have in charge instead of a manager can conjure a winning formula from the players, perhaps by playing 2 up front? By the way, if you have a gap in your football viewing, the 3 amigos is a very watchable film, and fittingly a comedy.

 

For the predictions competition, we are asking for the score at the end of normal time (that is after 90 minutes plus whatever is added for stoppages). If you predict a draw, for a bonus point, you may also predict the final outcome. There are 4 options; Rovers win in extra time, Rovers lose in extra time, Rovers win a penalty shoot-out. or Rovers lose a penalty shoot-out. Goals scored by your nominated scorer count in both regular and extra time, but not a penalty shoot-out.
