The very fact that he went for the interview clearly shows he does not want to be at FGR anymore . Therefore when he returns from his interview present him with his P45 and good riddance.
The squad we have is good enough to avoid relegation, so let's use this season to get back on an even keel and not into a rushed managerial appointment, make it carefully and considered by getting someone who can genuinely and effectively develop/coach players.

All this talk of avoiding relegation and writing this season off is ridiculous. There are 36 games left and we’re 4 points off the play offs, get this appointment right and it’s all to play for.

Why couldn't he go for an interview and take the game tomorrow night?? Talk about making your bed. Not the brightest is he 🤣
 
This all smells like Dale Vince hoping Savage gets the Posh job so he doesn't have to sack him. And DV will get compensation for him rather than pay him off.

I think this was DV/MB saying if your head is being turned you are not in the right frame of mind to be in charge on Tuesday. It also says - there is no way back.

Mark Hughes isn’t a name, he’s an experienced manager who managed a team that finished a considerable number of points ahead of us last season.
We all know we won’t appoint a manager who we would like or who would be fit for the job. Mark Hughes is not coming to FGR!

There is a link, Mark Hughes knows Mark Bowen very well, they worked together at Man City. I still doubt he'll come here though.

Robbie I have a special door in my wardrobe with big letters on it, "MANAGER". and it only reopens out of the back. What happened to club loyalty, this has upset me as I see someone only want's fame and money.
